Following the acquisition of Perchcourt Stainless by Benteler Distribution UK in 2009, it was always the intention to relocate to a larger warehouse in order to expand the sales of stainless tube in the UK. 

Benteler is a global leader in the manufacture and distribution of tubes and automotive components. On Friday 29th January 2011 the Perchcourt sales team moved along with the automotive sales and hydraulic sales teams of Benteler Distribution UK to a brand new facility based in the West Midlands at West Bromwich called Delta Point. The new 3530 M2 (38,000 ft2) warehouse gives Benteler Distribution increased capacity not only in respect of stocking stainless tube and profiles but also provides an ideal location for processing and delivering cut parts to the automotive industry where the aim is to provide both best in class quality and service. Cutting equipment is installed and operational.

A further goal of the expansion is to establish a stock of cylinder tube and chrome bar in order to develop sales into the hydraulics market in the UK.

 

 

Following the 2009 acquisition of Perchcourt Stainless , Benteler Distribution  have now commenced work on new premises in West Bromwich which comprises warehouse and offices, total size is 37,000 ft2      (3,400 m2  ).  This new development means the expansion of Perchcourt Stainless can continue as well as allowing Benteler Distribution to create a service centre for Hydraulic products (Cylinder tube and Chrome bar).  In addition to this we are also adding a cutting facility specifically for our automotive customers that will offer both excellent quality and service.

 

We expect to move in within 2 months.

 

PERCHCOURT STAINLESS 

Acquisition for Benteler Distribution UK Ltd

 

On the 22nd July 2009 Benteler Distribution UK ltd (BDUK) purchased the Goodwill and some assets from the administrator of Perchcourt Ltd. The new trading name will be Perchcourt Stainless and will be a division of BDUK.

 

Perchcourt has a very good reputation in the industry and has traded for approximately twenty seven years. The experienced sales team continues to work from the Smethwick office and warehouse. The main products are welded stainless in round tube as well as square and rectangular hollow sections.  In addition to this they also stock and sell various channel sections, unequal angle, profiles, fittings and bar.

 

The intention is to move to larger premises near the existing site to build on the reputation of a fast and efficient service. To assist the development of future sales a larger range of products will be stocked and full advantage will be taken of Benteler Distributions 4000 tonnes of stainless material held across Europe.
