Benteler Distribution is one of the UK’s leading carbon and stainless steel stockholders. With over 4,000 tones in stock strategically located throughout the UK, our customer service is second to none. Working closely with some of the largest manufacturers in the UK, Benteler Distribution is committed to continually developing the stock and range of services needed by our customers.

BSI registered – and accredited by many companies

Quality control has always been of great importance to our company. Registered in accordance with ISO 9001: 2000 we continually monitor our inspection procedures to ensure that the tubes supplied to you are in accordance with the specification. Certificates of conformity or mill certificates, identifiable with the material supplied from our stock, are available in accordance with our registration. All seamless products are available with certification to EN 10204 3.1 or 2.2. We can also arrange inspection by outside authorities such as Bureau Veritas and Lloyds Register.

 

 

The Benteler Distribution Group is made up of many companies, now all trading as one group. The original companies were Lancashire Tube Stockholders, Pipe and Tube Supplies, British and General Tube and Harbour Tubes. The combined trading years of these companies adds up to an impressive 160 years!

 

British and General Tube Co Ltd was established in the 1920s and became part of the Group in 1986. The others were formed in the 1970s.

 

We have built on this experience and have maintained a progressive approach to our markets.
